Maybe this is already showing, but I'm looking forward to seeing The Informant. Looks hilarious.
Another one that I know is showing but I'm dying to see is District 9.
Other than that... Haven't been too impressed by Hollywood the last few years. Heard they're even making a live-action Smurfs. *shakes head*

I want to see 9 and I'm anxiously awaiting Sherlock Holmes with Downey Jr. I'll rent District 9 when it comes out on DVD.

Saw both 9 and District 9; for my opinions, check the other movie thread.
Yeah, I'd like to see Sherlock Holmes too. My regular movie buds are already panning it though ("What? Watson is skinny?") before it's even out. Some of their points are good, but what does one expect? So I might end up seeing it alone.

"It's Complicated" looks good; anyone planning on seeing it?

Not even remotely. I'm awaiting 'Alice in Wonderland', tho.

We discussed this I think, but I'm feeling kinda blah about the new Alice. I like Tim Burton better when he does his own stuff, I think.

I was never a big fan of the original Alice, anyway. And I have a hard time watching movies, the whole being committed to sitting still for 2 hours thing...so when I already know what's going to happen I'm even less interested.

Of course, as I said, this isn't an entire remake of the original story, as it's sort of a sequel... and it has an epic sword fight in it, as per trailer I sent you which you clearly never watched. But that's ok... it's fine...
I do like the original Alice. At least the Disney version, anyway. One of my all-time faves.
On a different note, the trailer for Iron Man 2 looks pretty good. I was a little worried when I was reading about it, but Mickey Rourke as Whiplash looks more cool that stupid in the trailer. Still meh about Scarlett Johansson being in it, tho. I find her highly over-rated in both the looks and talent departments.
Trailer for Lightning Thief looked like it could be cool for a kids flick. NEver read those books, tho. Might have to get around to it, someday.
And the trailer for Sorcerer's Apprentice looks like it could be good if it didn't have Nicholas Cage in it being Nicholas Cage...
