Nice. If you can't get fabric as wide as you need, you could also cut two quarter-circles on the bias for a half-circle cloak, and accept a seam up the back. That's a bit harder to sew, as the fabric could bunch up easily along the seam as you're sewing, so if you're using a machine be sure you know your machine well and can get the thread tensions adjusted accordingly (or have your sister do it - - totally just kidding! ). But it might work better if your subject is quite tall and will need an especially long cloak, or if you want it to drag a little on the ground.
